Tariq Bashir Mustapha Ben Amr
Dr. Tariq Bashir Mustapha Ben Amrou Attouchi is a Libyan scholar. He obtained a Doctorate in photogrammetry and remote sensing engendering within the field of research in mineral exploration. He equally holds a Master’s degree in photogrammetry, remote sensing and geographic information systems from Wuhan Wuhan University, China. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Sabha, Libya.
Dr. Tariq Ben Amor led many field studies and field exploration in both Libya and China.
The Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology honored him in 2009 for having the best scientific research in the field of remote sensing and mineral exploration when he was working in the China University of Geosciences.
He has held during his career, many academic, administrative, and governmental positions in Libya.
He is a faculty member of the Faculty of Engineering Technology in Zwara since 2010. He is also a board member of the Commission on the industrial zones of Libya since July 2014. He occupied the position of member and chairman of the local council in Zwara from 2012 to 2014.
He studied at the Higher Institute of Mechanical and electrical Professions in Zwara and headed the Department of enrolment, study, and examinations at the Higher Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Professions in Zwara from 1996 to 1999.
Tariq Ben Amor was an academic researcher at the Chinese University of Geosciences in Wuhan, China and earned a Master’s and a PhD degree from there.
